Traditional Upright Cold Immersion
The KOVE Round Cedar Ice Bath delivers a classic, upright cold plunge experience designed for effective, no-nonsense recovery. Its compact barrel-style shape keeps the body vertical, encouraging controlled breathing, mental focus, and efficient cold exposure.
Crafted from real cedar wood with a hygienic 304 stainless steel inner liner and band, this premium ice bath blends traditional materials with modern durability — making it suitable for both home recovery setups and professional wellness environments.
Plunge Style & Recovery Experience
Designed for Upright Cold Plunging
The round barrel design keeps you seated upright, naturally submerging the body while promoting diaphragmatic breathing and mental discipline. This plunge style is preferred by many athletes and first-time users for its simplicity, space efficiency, and focused intensity.
It’s ideal for shorter, more frequent plunges and for users who want a straightforward, traditional cold immersion experience.
Materials, Build & Hygiene
Premium Cedar Exterior & Stainless Steel Interior
The exterior is crafted from cedar wood, chosen for its natural resistance to moisture and its timeless appearance in cold plunge environments. Inside, a smooth 304 stainless steel liner and band provide a corrosion-resistant, hygienic surface that is easy to clean and built for regular use.
A fitted wooden cover helps protect the water between sessions and supports improved temperature retention when used with cold water and ice.
Natural Wood Character
Each KOVE wooden ice bath is individually crafted and entirely unique. Natural variations in grain and tone are part of the material’s character and give every unit a distinct appearance.
The wood is pre-finished to allow it to develop a deeper, richer tone over time. We recommend ongoing treatment with Danish oil to preserve the finish and enhance the natural grain.
Ease of Use & Chiller Compatibility
Comfortable, Safe Access
The included double-layer step provides secure, stable entry and exit, making the ice bath suitable for frequent daily use in home, gym, or studio environments.
Chiller Ready with Standard 1/2" Connections
The KOVE Round Ice Bath is fully chiller compatible and designed to connect to professional ice bath chillers — including all KOVE ice bath chiller models.
It features two standard 1/2" stainless steel connection points, which is the industry standard for high-quality ice baths:
-
One outlet carrying water from the ice bath to the chiller for cooling
-
One inlet returning cooled water from the chiller back into the bath
This closed-loop circulation system ensures consistent water temperature, efficient cooling, and reliable long-term operation.
Product images: The listing includes images showing the integrated outlet drain valve and one of the stainless steel chiller connection ports. The second chiller port is positioned on the bath for full circulation and is identical in specification.
Integrated Drain Outlet
An integrated outlet valve allows for easy draining when changing water or preparing the bath for cleaning, transport, or winter storage.
